Zoom is now one of the most popular ways to hold meetings. One important aspect is how to use polls to vote on issues. Only the original host can set up polls. Most of the time this is not a problem. But I have run into situations where people are just intimidated by them. In reality, there is no real reason to be so. Yes, the first few times, they take time to set up. After a little practice, they are easy to use and quick.
An advantage of polls is that only the host and co-hosts can see how individuals voted. Others only see the results unless there is a reason to share the raw votes.
I highly recommend using Zoom for online meetings. Yes, there are many other programs that can be used. But currently Zoom does a great job.
